100 Year Families
100-Year Agriculture Families
As we celebrate University of California Cooperative Extension - Kern County 100th anniversary, we would like to celebrate and recognize those families with a long, sustained involvement in the agriculture industry. We are looking for agriculture families with 100 years or more of working/owning farms, ranches, dairies and/or 4-H participation.
Applications may be submitted any time, although they must be submitted by July 15, 2014 to be recognized during the 2014 Kern County UCCE Centennial Celebration August 21, 2014 at the Kern Ag Pavilion.
UC Cooperative Extension Kern will honor families with 100 years or greater in continuous agriculture production in Kern County.
Years that are applicable:
- You can only consider direct-line family members: children, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents. (Aunts and uncles, cousins, etc. may not be considered.) Stepparents, stepchildren, or adopted children may be included.
- Supporting documentation is not necessary.
