The Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP) helps dairy and livestock producers decrease their manure-derived methane emissions by transitioning from one manure management system to another. It awards funds up to $750,000.

Eligible practices
- Solid separation with:
- Open solar drying
- Daily spread
- Solid storage
- Windrow drying or Composting
- Conversion from flush to scrape/vacuum with:
- Open solar drying
- Daily spread
- Solid storage
- Windrow drying or Composting
- Compost bedded pack barn
- Slatted floor pit storage manure collection
- Transitioning to a pasture-based system
