Deciduous Tree Fruits and Nuts
We are happy to announce that our Orchard Systems Advisor, Mohammad Yaghmour, will be hosting the 2017 Kern County Almond Day. Topics covered will include updates on laws and regulations, evapotranspiration, almond pathology, orchard recycling, and much more. A hot buffet lunch will be served at the end of the session.
Online registration and payment is encouraged and is available here. You can also register by mail and pay by check by using the mail-in registration form. Just be sure to mail the form and your payment early. Registration for the Almond Day closes on March 27.

The Deciduous Tree Fruits and Nut program consists of both research and education. The research focus on validation of research information was developed by faculty at UC Davis and by researchers at Kearney Ag Center. Experiments are also established to solve local production problems.
