J.S. DI GIORGIO MEMORIAL INTERNSHIP
The J.S. Di Giorgio Memorial Internship was established to give southern San Joaquin Valley students pursuing a career in agriculture a broad based, hands-on exposure to production techniques and problems. The interns will work under the direction of the Farm Advisors of the University of California's Cooperative Extension office in Kern County. The selected intern will receive full time, non-benefited compensation of approximately $2,750 per month. The filing deadline for submission of the application and letters of reference is Monday, April 1, 2024.
Note that the internship is only open to students who are at least 18 years old as of June 2, 2024 and who are currently pursuing a college degree in agriculture, or who are graduating high school seniors that have enrolled in agricultural-related curriculum at a college or university for the Fall 2024 semester.
