J.S. DI GIORGIO MEMORIAL INTERNSHIP
The J.S. Di Giorgio Memorial Internship was established to give southern San Joaquin Valley students pursuing a career in agriculture a broad based, hands-on exposure to production techniques and problems. The interns will work under the direction of the Farm Advisors of the University of California's Cooperative Extension office in Kern County. The selected intern will receive full time, non-benefited compensation of approximately $2,200 per month. The filing deadline for submission of the application and letters of reference is Monday, March 2, 2020.
Note that the internship is only open to students who are at least 18 years old as of the date of hire and who are currently pursuing a college degree in agriculture, or who are graduating high school seniors that have enrolled in agricultural-related curriculum at a college or university for the Fall 2020 semester.
Questions concerning the internship and how to apply can be directed to our office at 661-868-6200. Links to the informational flyer, application, and letter of reference forms are shown below.
