J.S. DI GIORGIO MEMORIAL INTERNSHIP
The J.S. Di Giorgio Memorial Internship was established to give southern San Joaquin Valley students pursuing a career in agriculture a broad based, hands-on exposure to production techniques and problems. The interns will work under the direction of the Farm Advisors of the University of California's Cooperative Extension office in Kern County during the summer of 2025. The selected intern will receive full time, non-benefited compensation of approximately $2,750 per month. The filing deadline for submission of the application and letters of reference is Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Note that the internship is only open to U.S. citizens who are students that will be at least 18 years old as of May 25, 2025 and who are currently pursuing a college degree in agriculture, or who are graduating high school seniors that have enrolled in agricultural-related curriculum at a college or university for the Fall 2025 semester.
